Healthy Campus Week allows campuses across the country to engage their students in healthy activities and wellbeing education (9/16-9/20 #HealthyCampusWeek2024). See videos of daily activities.

Cheyney is a Healthier Campus Initiative partner that made a commitment to follow 41 evidence-based guidelines (GUIDELINES) and to provide elearning modules (COURSES) to 100% of students. They are committed to student wellbeing and success!

Can your campus use donations to your food pantry???
Healthier Campus Initiative has cohosted Food Insecurity Awareness Day during Healthy Campus Week with Swipe Out Hunger and #Real College (Hope Center). This initiative has provided gift cards for food pantries to the following colleges and universities:
- Bowie State University
- Howard University
- Purdue University
- University of Illinois Chicago
- Cheyney University
- Columbia College South Carolina

1.) Participate in a network of colleges and universities that are creating healthy environments. See the FAQ tab for a list of nearly 80 campuses that have been in the Healthier Campus Initiative network (Phase I or Phase II).
2.) Receive industry and government best practices.
3.) Create independent health habits for all of your students, faculty and staff.
4.) Receive elearning modules with AI and VR features for students on healthy eating, exercising and other wellbeing tips on the go. See the COURSES tab.
5.) Receive 41 evidence-based guidelines that administrators, food service, student affairs and wellbeing committees can follow. See the GUIDELINES tab.
6.) Measure improvement in wellbeing habits and change in environment.
7.) Tackle food insecurity.
